Hank Roberts Sextet “Science of Love” CD

Hank Roberts Sextet

Hank Roberts — cello; Brian Drye — trombone; Dana Lyn — violin; Mike McGinnis — clarinet and soprano saxophone; Jacob Sacks — piano; Vinnie Sperrazza — drums.

“This particular instrumentation and group of esteemed musicians, as well as the focus given to details like tone, dynamics and intonation have all contributed to the ensemble’s unique sound, in my opinion, at times resembling a small orchestra.”
